“Are you okay?” Look, listen and quickly find a trusted grown-up.
Little hearts. Big heroes. Hartley helps young students learn how to spot an emergency, call for help and become a confident helper.

I’m the Community Wellness & Resource Hub’s Chief Wellness Ambassador. I help children learn how to be brave, kind and prepared when someone needs help.
During National Preparedness Month, the Community Wellness & Resource Hub Wellness Crew visited Clara Hall Elementary School to talk with kindergarten and first-grade students about being prepared in a life-or-death emergency.
Through Hartley’s Little Lifesavers, students explored the basics of CPR in a fun, supportive and age-appropriate way. They learned that even the youngest helpers can recognize when something is wrong, call 911, find a trusted adult and take safe action while help is on the way.
Our hands-on program builds courage without creating fear. Children practice simple, memorable actions they can carry into everyday life.
“Are you okay?” Look, listen and quickly find a trusted grown-up.
Call 911, say where you are and calmly tell the helper what happened.
Learn the idea of “push, push, push” through safe, guided CPR practice.
Use courage and kindness—because kids can help save a life, too!
Students listened, practiced and discovered that preparedness is a skill everyone can begin learning.

For Health Literacy Month, schools can invite our Wellness Crew to introduce kindergarten and first-grade students to the basics of CPR, emergency readiness and becoming a confident helper.
Tell us about your school and select a preferred Wednesday or Friday in October. Our team will follow up to confirm availability and visit details.
